Hello again *waves*
Yes it has been aaaaaaaaaages (2 years to be exact) since I have blogged or had any online presence at all besides facebook. I know, you all missed me..I missed you too *group hug* :)
I have needed a change in my life and with a few baby steps I am starting to do just that..make a change. One thing that is a must is that I am stepping back into scrapping. I have not touched an embellishment or paper in 2 years, since the birth of my daughter, so I have many many MANY special moments to scrap and now I have kicked myself in the butt hard enough to get the ball rolling.
Now as for the digital side of me, I am going to use my blog to give away freebies, write up some tutorials and then maybe I will start selling again.
So thats it in a nutshell. Are you ready for me? Am I ready for me? lol
We'll see *waves bye*

More of my luck....good or bad, you decide.
Well after 3 days of daily trips to the hospital for tests and appointments we finally got a date for the baby to be delivered...one way or the other. Tuesday Sept. 2 at 11am I will be having a version procedure to try and flip the baby back head down. If the procedure works then they will break my water and induce labour. If it doesn't work or if the baby's heartbeat drops at all I will have a c-section right then and there. Sounds good right? I mean Mathew's birthday is Oct. 2 and now this one will be Sept 2....pretty neat. Now here is when my bad luck comes in...
This morning at 9am my mom called me to tell me my uncle found my grandpa dead at his home last night, apparently he had a massive heart attack and was dead before he hit the floor. I grew up living beside this man. My grandma died of cancer in January and now Grandpa. The funny thing about it is when my mom was pregnant with me her grandfather died and getting the call that he died sent her into labour with me. Now almost 34 years later history is repeating itself...except I better not go into labour anytime soon. They are going to hold the funeral off until Thursday so that a couple of my cousins can get down in time for it but I doubt I will be out of the hospital by then.
I don't know how to be happy and sad at the same time. :(

Proof kids never do what they are told.
So I just got back from my weekly doctors appointment and all I have to say is BAD BAD BAD BABY!!!! "Junior" is feet DOWN and head under my ribs. :( My doc felt around and was a little confused because last week it was head down so he went and got his ultrasound machine and checked and sure enough the big huge lump that has been poking me was a HEAD.
Since my appointments are weekly he said that we will see what happens next week and if "Junior" hasn't turned then my options are to be admitted and have the baby be physically manipulated into position or he will schedule a c-section. Not too sure I like the idea of being manipulated but I don't wanna have a breech baby either, so we will wait and see. OH and the doc checked and it was too crowded to tell the sex of the baby so I guess it really will be a surprise.
blah
lol

Whats a few months between friends?
Sooooooooo hello :)
Ya its been forever but I had a lot going on and blogging had to take a back burner.
Anyways things are starting to quiet down again...August is usually a busy month but I decided to opt out of a few family functions and stuff to keep it from being so hectic.
Let's see...whats new.
Well a few weeks ago I got 14 inches of my hair cut off to donate for Cancer. It has been 2 years since my step mom died and 2 years since I got a hair cut...felt good to finally be rid of it all and the best part..knowing my hair would go towards helping someone else. I have a couple pics I still have to upload but here is an after pic.

Less than 3 weeks to go and the baby should be here. I say SHOULD because it feels like it likes its current living quarters and has no plans on leaving lol Its hard to walk and hard to sit and hard to eat lol but it will all be worth it soon.
Here is a pic from June

Thankfully I have only gained 28lbs this time....with Mathew it was about 45lbs lol
I have my weekly appointment tomorrow so hopefully that will go well and we will sit and wait and wait and wait some more.
Well I need to go fold some laundry and figure out what to have for supper. I will update more often lol I promise :)Monday, April 14, 2008
What a weekend...
How did such a long weekend go by so fast?
I was counting down the days until Thursday when I would be leaving here and going to my mom's in preparation for going to Scrapfest on Friday and here it is the following Monday already...what the hell lol
I first want to thank Jen for wrangling me up a last minute VIP ticket for Friday night and for hanging with me while Ally was in class being a brown noser..er I mean TA *smiles at Ally* I had a great time being able to just sit and talk with Jen after knowing her for so long and yet never meeting face to face yet... it felt like we had met a million times already after just 10 mins.
It was great to be able to just hang with Jen, Ally, and yes EVEN Tara :P Although I didn't get to see Tara as much it was still great to see her and meet her friends Michelle and Ann-Marie.
The event was a HUGE success, there were so many great vendors there and so many great deals. I couldn't imagine someone NOT leaving with a heap of scrappy goodness. I finally got to meet Catherine Tachdjian and let me tell you she is just a down to Earth person!! I will save my autograph forever and ever Catherine lol
I was also able to meet Kerry McRorie (who is the Editor-in-Chief of Scrapbook & Cards Today) because Ally was a TA for her classes and because she is such a down to Earth person as well she introduced herself to me because Jen and Ally were too busy being RUDE :P lol
By far the funniest person I met was Vicki Boutin
. She has such a bubbly personality and a smile that is so contageous. I was able to help Ally TA one of her classes on Friday and I sat in on another (couldn't get a ticket in time) class on Saturday morning and let me tell you WOW! Just listening to her as she was teaching I was in awe of her talent...she taught so many great techniques in such a short period of time. And one thing I learned from her is when she tells you something is really really really good and DO NOT try it...well you should listen lol I am now addicted to the damn caramel ice cap. supreme from Tim Horton's!!!!
Ok well I am sure I am forgetting a bunch but I need to eat (as usual lol)
hows that for an update? lol

TGIF
Well I am definitely glad its Friday. We were suppose to be hit with another winter storm this afternoon but the powers that be are now saying its moving more to the East so it will miss us..YAY. I am so done with Winter.
Now on to some fun stuff :) Want something fun to do this weekend? Of course you do...so you should head over to the International Scrapbooking Association (weScrap..formerly iScrap) for their 2nd online crop. The weekend is jam packed with challenges, make and takes, games and a bunch of fun!
I think I will do nothing but scrap all weekend. I need the relaxing time and with March break being next week I certainly will not get much time with a 7 year old running around lol Ok well I need to go get more coffee...decaf of course *snickers*
Have a great day all!

And so it begins...again lol
Well with a new house and a new addition on the way I thought it would only be fitting to start a new blog as well. We are finally all moved in after 5 days of moving from hell in a snow storm. My parents were a big help, they came down and helped me sort through a lot of the chaos that was surrounding me. We have a lot of unpacking to do yet but our home is becoming a home :)
I FINALLY have a space all my own to store my scrap supplies. That makes me uber excited to get back into it again regardless if everything else is unpacked or not! Priorities right? :)
